Cruise Guests
Expect the
Extraordinary.
Today's cruise passengers are well-travelled, discerning and have high expectations. They've seen world-class entertainment ashore — in London's West End, on Broadway, at major festival venues — and they expect the same standard onboard. Delivering that consistently, night after night, across multiple venues, in a moving vessel, in a cost-controlled operating environment, is one of the most demanding challenges in the entertainment industry.
The operators who get entertainment right don't just retain guests — they create advocates. The ones who get it wrong find that poor entertainment is consistently one of the top complaints in post-cruise surveys. It directly affects repeat bookings, Net Promoter Scores and ultimately, revenue.
Live Business exists to make sure you get it right. Every time.

Family Entertainment Is Often an Afterthought
Families are one of the fastest-growing segments in cruise. Lines that treat children's entertainment as secondary find that family satisfaction — and repeat booking rates — suffer according

Multiple Suppliers Create Chaos
Using separate agencies for casting, production, technical and management creates coordination failures, accountability gaps and quality inconsistencies that your guests ultimately experience.
03
Operational Complexity at Sea
Managing entertainment staff on a rotating contract basis, across international waters, with visa compliance, welfare obligations and performance standards is genuinely complex. It requires specialist expertise.

Generic Programmes Fall Flat
Off-the-shelf entertainment packages that aren't tailored to your guest demographic, your vessel layout or your brand values will always underperform — no matter how professionally executed.

Multiple Suppliers Create Chaos
Live Business delivers the complete entertainment ecosystem for cruise lines — from the initial concept design and creative strategy through to cast, crew, costumes, sets, technical infrastructure, digital guest experiences and the operational management of every element throughout the season.
We work with cruise operators of all scales — from boutique expedition vessels to large-format luxury liners — tailoring our approach to the specific requirements of each client. Whether you need a full entertainment programme built from scratch or a specific service to complement your existing operation, we have the expertise and infrastructure to deliver it.
Our cruise team is dedicated — not shared with other sectors. The account managers, product delivery managers and specialists who work on your account understand cruise operations in depth and are available to support your team throughout the year.

"THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCTION SHOWS LIVE BUSINESS CREATES IS GENUINELY OUTSTANDING — WEST END STANDARDS, DELIVERED CONSISTENTLY ONBOARD ACROSS MULTIPLE VESSELS AND SEASONS. OUR GUESTS NOTICE AND THEY TELL US."

Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you work with cruise lines of all sizes, or only the largest operators?
We work with cruise operators across the full spectrum — from boutique expedition vessels with a single entertainment team through to large-format luxury liners with multiple onboard entertainment venues and dozens of staff. Our approach is always tailored to the specific scale and requirements of the client, so there is no standard minimum contract size.
Can you provide a single service, or do we need to take the full end-to-end package?
Absolutely — we can provide any individual service from our Big 10 as a standalone engagement. Many of our cruise clients begin with a specific need (a new production show, a talent recruitment drive, or a technical upgrade) and then expand the relationship over time. There is no obligation to take the full package
How do you handle crew changes and mid-season performer replacements?
Our contracts and logistics team manages all crew rotation and replacement as a standard part of our service. We maintain a pool of pre-approved, trained replacement performers for every production, so that in the event of illness, injury or contract completion, a replacement can be deployed swiftly — minimising any disruption to the entertainment programme.
