The Challenge


Saga's guest demographic presents a unique creative and operational challenge. A programme that works brilliantly for a mainstream cruise audience will not necessarily resonate with guests who have seen West End shows, attended classical concerts and travelled extensively. The entertainment needs to be genuinely excellent — not merely competent.


At the same time, the programme needs to cater to the full breadth of Saga's passenger base — from guests who want sophisticated theatrical productions and enrichment lectures to those who prefer light entertainment, live music in the lounge and low-key daytime activities.
